Are you in the wrong Career?
Do you need a new trade career? According to Career Alchemy, CIPD research shows that half of the UK workforce are in the wrong job. This is based on skill level. Gallup reports that only 15% of people are ‘intellectually and emotionally’ engaged in their work, because they love what they do.
What a waste! Do you need a New Trade career?
I’ve been doing some market research recently, just chatting informally to people about becoming a dog trainer. Some of these people are now dog trainers, but took a very long time to achieve their goal and some are still wishing and dreaming.
If you don’t feel you’re in the right job or don’t love what you do, it’s known that this means people lack a sense of belonging, purpose and direction. Do you know that in 2017/18 (so nothing to do with the pandemic), 15.4 milion working days, in the UK, were lost due to work related stress, anxiety or even depression.
Have you thought about a New Trade Career?
In my research, I also learned that some people would love to be a dog trainer, loving the idea of working with dogs and helping people to get the best from their dog, but they feel they just don’t have the skills needed and that the job is beyond them.
