Meet our Volunteers and Supporters

Some of them are a little shy, and we’re still waiting to capture their photos!
This is a difficult page to write, as we have so much support and help, from so many. Our customers are amazing and many help with repair jobs, moving equipment around and our Train the Trainer programme. That support is invaluable.
We have a volunteer programme, which is made up of people who just love being around dogs and being part of our team. Most of our volunteers and supporters have come to us after being in training classes with their own dogs. That means they have a good understanding of what it’s like being in a class and can help the team to remember that it can be scary, as a dog owner, bringing your dog to classes.
They all have a range or skills and life experience which adds great quality to the team.
Other people support us in many ways. Sally, a former university lecturer, supports me with the Train the Trainer programme. Sally has also recently taken up a new hobby – photography! How useful is that.
Steve and Sharon support us in many ways. Steve offers business guidance and advice, hence the new colours and logo! All work kit has been very kindly donated along with new agility kit and a marquee. Steve is also a keen photographer so we are in a great position to get some professional photos of dogs enjoying classes.
(I have to note that Sally nor Steve are responsible for the ‘quick click’ photos on these pages!)
Volunteers often take the path to become a fully qualified National Dog Training Academy Dog Trainer. They are very much a part of our team and attend training sessions supporting the instructors. Their help and support in classes is invaluable and means there is always help on hand when it’s needed.
